What image formats are supported?
This tool supports standard web image formats including JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF. The output will be saved as a compressed JPEG.
How does compression quality work?
The quality slider (1-100%) determines the level of JPEG compression. Lower quality results in smaller file sizes but may introduce visual artifacts. 80% is usually a good balance between size and quality.
Is aspect ratio preserved?
Currently, you can manually set the width and height. To preserve the aspect ratio, calculate the proportional height when changing the width (or vice versa).
Can I process multiple images at once?
This tool is designed for single-image processing to ensure maximum privacy and performance within your browser. For batch processing, dedicated desktop software is recommended.
